Future is here: SWG3 IS USING DANCERS BODY HEAT TO POWER THE CLUB

SWG3 nightclub  is testing a new system that will use the body heat of the ravers to power the lights, music and electricity in the venue.

The test will be launched in Glasgow for the first time in November. The "Renewable Heating and Cooling System" will work by converting the heat from the dancers and staff into energy.

A new mural dedicated to DJ & former Radio 1 host Annie Mac has appeared in Dublin

The mural was painted by local artist Emmaline Blake for No More Hotels. The mural features Annie's words from her last appearance on Radio 1: "Life goes by really, really fast. Life is short. It thunders by. If you like the music you gotta get up and dance, Just do it!."

Amelie Lens is hosting Exhale at Printworks

Printworks has announced its full program of shows for the Autumn and Winter calendar. The news also follows the announcement of the opening of a new Inkwells room, located directly below the Printworks main room with 5,000 capacity. 

Recently the Belgian techno diva Amelie Lens announced via her social media that she will be hosting Exhale at Printworks.

1,000 people have been vaccinated at London's Heaven

1,000 people have been vaccinated at London's Heaven nightclub to boost vaccination rates and protect party-goers.

The event took place in response to low vaccination rates among young adults, with the first dose being given before age 30 and less than two-thirds.

Appointments and pre-booking were available for the vaccinations - which come after news that nightclubs may require clubbers to be double jabbed in order to gain entry.

THE CAUSE ANNOUNCED FUNDRAISER FOR DRUG AWARENESS

The Cause organized a fundraiser for drug awareness and harm reduction.

The event, called RAVE SAFE, will raise money for the non-profit organization Loop.

It will take place on Sunday, August 15, at the Tottenham Arena from 13:00 to 23:00.

The announcement follows the death of 21-year-old Bill on July 31. Bill passed away after a suspected drug overdose. He had attended a party at The Cause the night before.

Printworks presents a new room Inkwells

Printworks will reopen in September with a grand opening party on the 17th, 18th and 19th.

For this highly anticipated Fall / Winter 2021 season, Printworks is unveiling a new room.

The Inkwells is a new low-ceilinged space located underneath the Printworks main hall, accommodating 5,000 people.

This space will be used as the third event room for this AW21 season.

The new club SPACE 289 opens in East London

The new club SPACE 289 opens in East London. The venue is located 100 meters from Cambridge Heath Overground and a 5 min walk from Bethnal Green underground.

The grand opening ceremony will take place on July 29. 

SPACE 289 is a 200 capacity independent venue in the heart of Bethnal Green providing a relaxed, inclusive and immersive environment for artists and audiences.

UK government 'encourages' large clubs and festivals in the UK to use NHS COVID Pass for entry

The UK government discussed the opening of nightlife in England this week, developing the idea of a COVID PASS to enter nightclubs and festivals.

England nightlife will reopen on Monday 19 July with clubs reopening and festivals returning without any capacity restrictions, however, they should encourage larger, higher-risk events to use the NHS COVID PASS to enter to the venue. However, this will not be introduced as a legal requirement.
