"Time to Rave" is a series of powerful techno live sets by German DJ, Producer & Labelhead Vanessa Sukowski.

Each episode is recorded on black background, that was inspired by Jeff Mills. The project was created in early 2017 and breathed new life during the lockdown in 2020.

We continue our quarantine chronicles and today we want to dedicate this this section to the legendary club Berghain.

We all loan that Berghain is located in Berlin and is notable for its very strict door policy. There are legends about how to get there)

Today we want to focus on how the club lives during the quarantine.

The German Fiscal Court made a historic decision, ruling that techno is indeed a genre of music and implicates that techno and house club events are now classified as concerts as long as “the musical performances represent the actual purpose of the event from the perspective of an ‘average visitor.” 

What does it mean? Now German clubs are going to be entitled to the reduced tax rate which offer curated programmes.
