DJANEMAG :  HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN MUSIC? 

Warner Music Asia has today announced the launch of the first Pan-Asian dance label, Whet Records. The label’s first signing is Lizzy Wang, who has been twice ranked the number one DJ in China by DJane Mag (2020, 2021).

Her first single on Whet Records is ‘Flexy’, an anthem of female empowerment, which features Warner Music Norway’s Julie Bergan on vocals.
 

From the logo of EXIT, you will see 6 prominent fluorescent green spots which represent: FREEDOM / HARMONY / HOPE / INNOVATION / JOY / VIBRANCE.

That is the symbolisation of its Slogan “Entry for all happiness”.

EXIT’s Asia 1st club development project - a festival, that is held in 6 different clubs with massive lineups, representing world famous DJs. The first season was represented by such stars as Nervo and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

I hope that underground concepts and music will be gradually accepted by more people in China,  every existing music genre to be equally developed.

IVY WEI : 18 years.

Chinese-born Gigi Lee started her music journey with a passion for house music. She spent some time in the UK and immersed herself in the electronic music scene. Soon, she started spinning at parties and moved to Shanghai gracing the city with her attitude and boundless energy.

Alyshia : Since 2012 

DJANEMAG : What would people be surprised to learn about you? 
Alyshia : I guess it would have to be me being able to produce different genre that surprises the crowd 

Djanemag :  How long have you been in music?

Ailia Chery : I studied classical piano since 4 as a kid, been playing keyboard for my life. But I started putting myself into electronic music industry was 2 years ago, well never too late. I will have to switch my mind and “critical thinking” from classical music to dance music… was confused but working on it now.
