DJ MAG has revealed their top100djs results and What do we have this year?

David Guetta became number 1 for the second year in a row, Martin Garrix got position number 2 and the third rank went to Armin van Buuren.

The highest position among female DJs gets Nervo, girls are No. 18! The highest techno is Charlotte De Witte with a place No.23, the highest climber and is Peggy Gou on 38 rank, 31 positions UP! 

On the one hand, we are happy that more positions are occupied by female DJs and they become higher and higher. 

After making her debut with Bedrock Records back in 2018 with her Tribaltone LP, Shelley Johannson is back with the imprint for brand new EP, The Trip. The new EP follows the established talents’ most recent release, ‘Eternity’. Gaby Bau created an anthem for the underrated youth, "the future of our world", those guys who have a pessimistic view of the future with a drop of hope.

The piece tries to represent aspects such as hopelessness, violence, power, anarchy and freedom.

With a strong voice that invites to reflection and rebellion at the same time, accompanied by nothing more than a melancholy melody and a powerful bass.

'We Rise' is a sunset vibed house beauty from Carly Wilford & Anelisa Lamola. 

Carly Wilford started out on Rinse FM as a presenter who found that only 2% of women were music producers, so she decided to join the Toolroom Academy with the aim to be both a strong DJ and producer in her own right.

Anelisa Lamola (Vocalist) has appeared in London musicals 'The Lion King' and 'The Color Purple' .

Ayn featuring Yasmine D - NXT CHPTR EP is out!

The 'NXT CHPTR EP' has witnessed early success in the lead up to its release with early DJ support from legendary techno duo Slam, Flashmob, Syreeta, Robert Owens, Paco Osuna, Eelke Kleijn, Joyce Muniz, Anthony Pappa and Horse Meat Disco.

The creativity of Ayn and Yasmine D. knows no bounds with the release having a clear artistic concept, including mind expanding video premieres for each of the tracks on the EP. 

All things considered, it’s been a rather productive year for Simina Grigoriu. Following the hugely successful roll out of her Techno Monkey remix album (Volumes 1 & 2) and an impressive run of additional releases on the likes of Octopus Recordings, ELEVATE, Prospect Records and her very own Kuukou Records, the ever-prolific Berlin-based talent now continues her fine run of 2021 form with the announcement of her immense new Mission District EP.

Hot off the back of two huge debut releases on Second State and Odd Recordings over the past two months  – not to mention an incredible livestream performance from Castillo de Atienza alongside Ramiro Lopez and Lilly Palmer  – internationally celebrated Spanish techno sensation Auriga continues her hugely prolific run of Summer 2021 form as she unveils her latest huge EP, this time on the one and only I AM Techno (IAMT).

Hēi project has been holding workshops of #clubvideos at Moscow Music School (Moscow), Universal University (Moscow) and NCCA Arsenal museum (Nizhny Novgorod). Laura and Thea have guided the students who attended the workshops on how to shoot, build and edit club videos on the beat of unreleased tunes from disco, house and electronic music artists.

The results will be published in the next weeks.
