NATHASSIA Releases DEADLINE’s “Perfect Harmony” Remix

The Brazilian producer takes NATHASSIA’s chart rising trance single into a darker, cinematic melodic techno world

NATHASSIA has released the DEADLINE Remix of “Perfect Harmony”, out now via ArchangelUK Recordings.

Following the momentum of “Perfect Harmony”, which debuted as the Highest New Entry on the UK Big Top 40 at No. 17 earlier this year, the track now returns through a darker and more cinematic melodic techno lens. Brazilian producer DEADLINE reshapes the original into a powerful dancefloor cut, built around late night mainstage energy while keeping NATHASSIA’s vocal at the emotional center of the record.

A darker version of “Perfect Harmony”

The original version of “Perfect Harmony” carried an uplifting trance spirit, shaped by emotional release, euphoric melody and NATHASSIA’s distinctive vocal presence. In DEADLINE’s hands, the track moves into heavier and more atmospheric territory, adding rumbling low end pressure, expansive synth work and cinematic tension.

Speaking to DJane Mag, NATHASSIA says the remix made an instant impression: “From the very first beat, I knew this remix was going to be special. DEADLINE brought this powerful dark energy and cinematic melodic techno sound that instantly reminded me of some of the huge records I love playing in my sets. It felt like the missing version of the track.”

She adds that the remix has already become a major moment in her live sets. “When it reaches the euphoric breakdown, it honestly gives me goosebumps. It feels like opening the doors to another world. I’ve already played and sung it live twice as the closing moment of my sets, and the crowd reaction has been amazing.”

Why DEADLINE was the right artist for the remix

The connection between NATHASSIA and DEADLINE began in Brazil, when the two artists played together at F38. After hearing his set and productions, NATHASSIA felt he was the right producer to reinterpret “Perfect Harmony”.

“I met DEADLINE in Brazil when we played together at F38, and after hearing his set and productions, I instantly felt he was the perfect person for this remix,” NATHASSIA says. “He has this incredible ability to combine powerful melodic techno energy with emotion and atmosphere, which is exactly what I wanted for ‘Perfect Harmony.’”

For NATHASSIA, the key was allowing the track to evolve without losing its emotional identity. “The original track already had that uplifting emotional core, but DEADLINE managed to take it somewhere darker, deeper and more cinematic while still keeping the soul of the song alive. It felt like a natural evolution of the track.”

DEADLINE brings his melodic techno identity to the track

DEADLINE has been building a strong international profile with a sound that connects melodic techno, techno and progressive house with festival scale emotion. His productions have received support from major names including David Guetta, Vintage Culture and Tiësto, while his catalogue includes releases on labels such as Spinnin’ Records.

He has also collaborated with artists including Öwnboss, Kryder and Tujamo, alongside official remix work for Alok and Third Party. For this remix, however, the goal was not only to make the track darker. It was to preserve the emotion of NATHASSIA’s vocal while placing it inside his own melodic techno world.

“The original has a really uplifting trance energy, which I loved from the beginning,” DEADLINE tells DJane Mag. “My idea was to keep that emotional feeling while bringing a darker and more cinematic touch with my own melodic techno identity, creating something that also fits the energy of my DJ sets.”

For the Brazilian producer, the remix also represents another step in his current international moment. “I’m always collaborating with artists from different parts of the world, and I really value the creative exchange that comes with it. It’s amazing how music can connect people without borders. This remix reinforces my signature sound even more, and I’m excited to share it with the world.”
