Manda Moor brings two standout performances to D-EDGE Rio with Sirus Hood and Technasia this December
Two December dates at D-EDGE Rio highlight Manda Moor’s creative identity and global impact on the house scene
Rio de Janeiro, December 2025 – This month, Manda Moor takes center stage at D-EDGE Rio for two special nights that highlight her unmistakable identity and her growing influence within contemporary electronic music. Scheduled for December 12 and December 28, the performances reveal different layers of her artistic language while deepening the dialogue between the club’s immersive aesthetic and the global underground.
A creative force shaped by heritage, groove and attitude
Danish-Filipina and shaped by years of artistic growth in Europe, Manda Moor channels the spirit of Chicago house while infusing her sets with rhythm, sensuality and raw emotion. Her sound is both physical and refined, marked by hypnotic grooves and an energy that creates instant connection on the dancefloor. Because of this, she has become one of the most dynamic voices in today’s house landscape.
As a producer and DJ, Manda is also the co-founder of Mood Child, the label she runs alongside French artist Sirus Hood. In 2025, Mood Child was named Hype Label of the Year at the Beatport Awards, solidifying its role as a creative hub and aesthetic manifesto. More than just a record label, it acts as an open space for artistic freedom, where moods, identity and storytelling guide both the music and the broader community around it.
Her releases have reached the top of Beatport and earned support from legends including Carl Cox, Luciano, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Louie Vega and Seth Troxler. These milestones, combined with collaborations and back-to-back sets with artists like Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Nic Fanciulli and wAFF, reinforce her global relevance.
December 12: Intensity and artistic dialogue with Sirus Hood
On December 12, Manda Moor shares the night with Sirus Hood, her creative partner and co-founder of Mood Child. Celebrated for his emotional, vinyl-driven approach to house, Sirus brings a sound rooted in the raw spirit of the 80s and 90s, yet presented through a contemporary lens. His releases on Dirtybird, Hot Creations, Cajual and Cuttin’ Headz, along with consistent support from Jamie Jones and Carl Cox, position him as a key figure in modern house culture.
The lineup also features two rising Brazilian names who add distinct sonic textures to the evening.
Jonetta is known for her fluid, hybrid approach that moves between house, techno, breakbeat and bass music while maintaining strong groove and underground energy.
Elisa Amaral, with over a decade of experience, brings a style rooted in house with disco influences, creating a vibrant connection between music, fashion and social engagement.
Together, the artists orbit around the atmosphere Manda sets, creating a cohesive night shaped by emotion and identity.
December 28: Humans Alike welcomes Manda Moor and Technasia
On December 28, Manda Moor returns to the club as one of the headliners of Humans Alike, a night that bridges generations and global perspectives within electronic music. Joining her is Technasia, the project led by Parisian artist Charles Siegling, whose work has helped define the intersection between European techno and house since the 1990s.
Technasia’s career spans Paris, Hong Kong and some of the world’s most iconic dancefloors. Known for long, technical and emotionally rich sets, Siegling embodies a universal view of electronic music in which rhythm becomes a shared language.
Supporting the night are Alves and Cortes, who add local strength and diverse interpretations of the dancefloor, completing an evening built on collective energy and creative exchange.
