ANNA and Vintage Culture Join Forces on Feel The Rhythm

A techno-driven rework of Brazilian samba percussion, built for dark rooms, peak hours and heavy sound systems

ANNA and Vintage Culture join forces on Feel The Rhythm, delivering a collaboration that fuses Brazilian rhythm with high-impact techno. The track arrives on Vintage Culture’s label, Affairs, and brings deep percussion, melodic tension and a powerful club identity shaped for global dancefloors.

From the opening bars, the single presents a clear purpose. Built on traditional Samba School grooves, the production uses officially licensed samples from Brazilian legend Sérgio Mendes. These sounds first appeared in DJ Cave’s underground classic Street Carnival. Now they return with a fresh design, polished for peak-time sets and festival environments.

Samba rebuilt for the club

The partnership between ANNA and Vintage Culture turns Brazilian percussion into a modern techno structure. Organic drums meet intense low-end pressure, while hypnotic textures add atmosphere and emotional weight. It is a fusion that keeps the roots visible, but presents them with contemporary energy.

The track sits comfortably between melodic techno and festival power. It is bold, direct and engineered for the late hours.

In a recent statement, ANNA described the track as “a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Sérgio Mendes, a worldwide icon who brought Brazilian soul and rhythm to the world.” She explained that the single had been road-tested in both B2B and solo sets around the world before release, making the official launch feel like the right moment to share it with the audience.
