The unmissable parties at Amsterdam Dance Event 2017

As a collection of events spread across Amsterdam, it might seem complicated to find your way around ADE, especially for those who are unfamiliar to the venues and artists. Here you can find some totally unmissable.

Awakenings ADE X Len Faki presents Figure Nacht

The enormous Gashouder will be the home of Len Faki and some of his Figure Nacht family like the uprising star Regal. KiNK presents his amazing Cyrillic live set and Detroit legends Robert Hood and ‘The Wizard’ Jeff Mills will ensure an amazing night. Plus, the closing set belongs to the one and only Jeff, what else could you ask for?

Hush head honcho DVS1 brings his ‘Wall Of Sound’ concept to ADE, bringing along friends including darkness maestro Oscar Mulero, the always eclectic Helena Hauff and the fiercest live show in techno Karenn (Blawan & Pariah). Room 2 will host, among many others, Umwelt and Tsuzing. A stacked line up for one of the most sought after parties of the year, hosted at Warehouse Elementenstraat on Thursday 19th October.

De School – 62 HOUR PARTY

De School which used to be a technical school, is more than a nightclub: it’s also has a concert venue, a restaurant, a café, an exhibition space and a gym. It has a 24-hour license and is open seven days a week. Artists such as Aurora Halal, Tom Trago, Dr. Rubinstein, Oceanic or Ramzi will be playing sets during the 62-hour party. The event will run from October 20 to October 23, so make sure you get some rest the days before!

Another 3 day party with a jaw-dropping line up that includes names such as HYTE’s mastermind Loco Dice, Pan-Pot, Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler, Marcel Dettmann, Monoloc or Guti. Taking over Warehouse Elementenstraat, the insane event will start on the 20th of October and will finish on the 23rd. Not for the faint-hearted.

Audio Obscura – Mosaic by Maceo

Fresh from an incredible residency in Pacha Ibiza, Maceo Plex brings Mosaic back to the Amsterdam in association with Audio Obscura on Friday 20th October. Maceo will be joined by the likes of The Drifter or Levon Vincent at Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, a venue usually associated with classical music where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city.
