Sara Landry Confirms Second Album Is in Progress

The hard techno artist steps away from touring to focus on her next studio release

Globally recognized for the relentless energy and high intensity of her music and performances, Sara Landry has confirmed that the early months of 2026 will mark a decisive shift in her career. The artist revealed she is stepping back from touring to fully concentrate on writing and producing her second studio album.

Following her appearance at EDC Thailand, scheduled for January 2026, fans will notice a notable gap in her tour calendar, with no performances announced until March. While the pause may come as a surprise to some, Landry has clarified that the break is intentional and creatively driven, allowing her to dedicate uninterrupted time to her next record.

The decision follows an exceptionally demanding end to 2025, during which Landry maintained an intense touring schedule that included five shows across four consecutive days. Rather than slowing her momentum, the artist is redirecting that energy toward the studio, setting the foundation for what is expected to be one of the most anticipated hard techno releases of the coming year.

Landry’s upcoming album will arrive as the follow up to Spiritual Driveby, her debut full length release from October 2024. The record played a crucial role in solidifying her rise and pushing hard techno into larger rooms without compromising the genre’s raw, uncompromising edge. The album was also deeply personal, completed after a 15 month creative block and shaped by a spiritual narrative that has since become a defining element of her artistic identity. Collaborations with artists such as Nico Moreno and Shlømo further strengthened its impact.

Since then, Landry has reached several historic milestones. Among them, becoming the first hard techno artist to perform on the Mainstage at Tomorrowland, a moment widely seen as symbolic for a sound traditionally rooted in darker, underground spaces.

In a message shared on social media, Landry expressed gratitude for the experiences of the past year and confirmed her short term plans, stating that after EDC Thailand she would step away from touring until March in order to write her next album. While full details about the project remain under wraps, her upcoming festival appearance in Thailand may offer early insight, with fans hoping to hear new IDs as the material continues to take shape.

With club and festival dates already scheduled for her return in March, anticipation is steadily building. If her debut album marked a breakthrough moment, this next chapter suggests a deeper creative evolution, reinforcing Sara Landry’s position as one of the most influential and forward driving figures in contemporary hard techno.
