EXIT Announces 2026 Global Tour Following Government Pressure in Serbia
First destinations revealed: Croatia, Macedonia, Malta, Egypt, India, and Serbia
EXIT launches “The First Chapter” – a new global era
EXIT Festival, one of the world’s leading music festivals, has announced the launch of its 2026 Global Tour. The new chapter, titled The First Chapter, comes after the festival revealed that it will not take place next year at its long-time home, the Petrovaradin Fortress, due to political pressure from Serbian authorities related to its public support for student protests.
Rather than slowing down, EXIT is expanding its horizons. The festival will bring its renowned energy and message of freedom to six destinations across the globe: Croatia, Macedonia, Malta, Egypt, India, and Serbia.
A message from EXIT CEO and Founder Dušan Kovačević
Dušan Kovačević, EXIT’s CEO and Founder, described the festival’s vision for the coming years:
“After 25 years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT is now spreading its wings to the world. We aim to unite continents through our festivals and carry the spirit of freedom wherever we go. For us, music has always been more than entertainment; it is a powerful force that brings people together and builds bridges between nations and cultures. Our mission is to awaken new generations to believe that a better world is possible, and that it all starts with each one of us.”
The official announcement took place 50 meters above Amsterdam, during EXIT’s traditional party at the spectacular Crane Faralda, as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

This collaboration promises a unique experience where contemporary electronic music meets ancient history.
In November, the tour continues to India with EXIT’s first-ever event in Mumbai, the country’s entertainment capital. Known as the home of Bollywood, Mumbai will bring a new cultural dimension to the EXIT experience.
Finally, Serbia will host a special edition of No Sleep Festival in Belgrade. This event, winner of the Best New European Festival award, will evolve into one of the largest raves in Europe.
