EMERGING ELECTRONIC MUSIC PRODUCER COMPETITION and EMERGING ELECTRONIC DJ PRODUCER COMPETITION

AVA Festival is delighted to announce that we will be running both an ‘Emerging Producer’ and an ‘Emerging DJ’ competition in the run up to the 2017 event. AVA is committed to showcasing the best in both local and international talent, so are delighted to be teaming up with Extended Play and Belfast Underground Radio to help shine a light on the thriving underground emerging scene.

The Emerging DJ competition will give the opportunity for an up and coming DJ to showcase their skills in a 30 minute mini mix, with 3 finalists performing in a live final at Belfast Underground Records. The winner will get a warm-up slot at AVA 2016, a feature on the Feel my Bicep Blog as well as a show on Belfast Underground Records Radio, getting ahead of the 300 artists waiting list.

The Emerging Producer competition will give the opportunity for a producer who has not yet made a release to feature on an EP with Extended Play as well as feature on the Feel My Bicep blog and receive mentoring and artist development support from the label owners JMX & T-BONE.

On top of this both competition winners will receive a set of DJ Headphones from Urbanears, and equipment from Ableton.
