Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 breaks records and announces its 30th-anniversary celebration for 2026 in Amsterdam
The Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 once again proved why it stands as the world’s leading festival for electronic music. This year’s edition surpassed all expectations, drawing 600,000 visitors, 3,500 artists, and over 1,200 events across 300 venues throughout Amsterdam. Moreover, at the closing of the festival, the organization officially announced the dates for its 30-year anniversary: October 21–25, 2026.
The energy of Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 took over the city
For five unforgettable days, Amsterdam became the beating heart of global electronic music. The diverse program showcased the full spectrum of the genre — from underground experimentation to grand-scale productions.
The Opening Specials illuminated the city, while Honey Dijon and Audio Obscura transformed the Nieuwe Kerk into a “black queer church” with PRAISE, celebrating love, freedom, and rhythm.
In addition, large-scale performances like Klangkuenstler at Ziggo Dome and Awakenings at its new SugarFactory venue brought massive energy to ADE. Meanwhile, smaller clubs such as SkateCafe, Garage Noord, RAUM, Klaproos, Tilla Tec, Studio Wieman, Lofi, and De Bajes kept the underground spirit alive — inclusive, raw, and authentic.
Thus, Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 proved that electronic music extends far beyond dancefloors. It remains a vibrant social and cultural movement that continues to evolve.

Through these discussions, ADE 2025 reinforced its position as a creative hub where innovation, technology, and artistry converge — shaping the future of global electronic music.
Founded in 1996, the Amsterdam Dance Event began as a small gathering for DJs and music professionals. Over the years, however, it has grown into the most influential electronic music event in the world.
In 2026, ADE will celebrate 30 years of history with a series of special projects and events. This milestone will both honor its legacy and look ahead to the next generation of artists, fans, and industry leaders shaping electronic culture.
