Moscow Chiks Family Business

Moscow Chiks is the most demanded club project from Russia, which got signed by the best European house label Tiger Records in a talk with DjaneMag about self-development, sisters support and equality between men and women.

DjaneMag: You have a fancy nickname. Who is the author of it?

Moscow Chiks: Yes we have a really cool nickname, it was coined by our manager. Me and my sister, immediately liked it.

DjaneMag: Being a female DJs, how it looks like?

Moscow Chiks: We don't see much difference between a girl and a man dj, the music market has become very many projects women dj. Of course for a girl Dj it is important to look cool. We train in the gym and think over our every new image detail, but of course first of all we are engaged in self-development, because the public does not matter you are a man or a woman, if you represent high quality, nice and firm material.

DjaneMag: Pros and cons of playing in a duet? Would you like to play separately in future?

Moscow Chiks: We don't see any disadvantages in working together, it's very easy, because we are sisters and we understand and complement each other.

DjaneMag: What was the coolest club or festival where you worked?

Moscow Chiks: We think that none of the club and the festival can not be compared, and to call the best of them, because in every city and every country in which we come to completely different audiences, reception,emotion, energy, mentality and culture.

DjaneMag: Is there any female Dj you admire and want to play with?

Moscow Chiks: Yes of course, we like sisters Mim and Liv Nervo. We think we would be able to make friends and we hope that soon it will happen, and we'll do some work together.

DjaneMag: What style of music do you play? What style of music do you listen at home?

Moscow Chiks: We write and play music in the style of future house & club house. At home we mostly listen to our new tracks, which we plan to release on the label. We just do not have time for another.

DjaneMag: What are your biggest sources of inspiration when you are mixing or producing music?

Moscow Chiks: Our inspiration is our goal! Every day we want to be better and cooler than yesterday. Every new track we put our soul and dream to be heard around the world! But in general, imagine you are traveling around the world, doing things you love and leaving the scene saw a huge crowd of people who were waiting for you and ready to tear to pieces the dance floor with you ... where we draw inspiration from? We think everything is clear)))

DjaneMag: What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?

Moscow Chiks: When the club in which we play is full of people and our project met with great love this is the best of all for us!

DjaneMag: What’s the most difficult thing about your job?

Moscow Chiks: The most difficult thing for us is the separation from family during the tour, because we often play in countries which far from Russia.

DjaneMag: Do you have any exclusive news for readers at the moment you wanna share?

Moscow Chiks: Of course, now we are completing work on our three new tracks. One of the tracks we have already finished and will soon submit it to DjaneMag. One of our tracks have supported EDX KAYLIOX Don diablo & funkin 'matt.
