Exclusive Interview with special guest from Portugal - Olga Ryazanova

Super demanded and maybe one of the most cheerful and sweet female DJs of the world Olga Ryazanova devoted some time, despite her incredibly busy schedule, to DJANEMAG to answer our questions and share some interesting facts and plans for future.

DJANEMAG: You are originally from Russia. Why did you decide to move to Portugal? And why did you choose this country in particular? 

Olga Ryazanova: Yes, I've lived most of my life in Russia and I never planned to live anywhere else. But then my first show happened to be in Portugal. And then the next one, and the next one after that. Sometimes I would have a tour in Portugal and I would stay here for like a month and then I would go back to Russia and just stay one week. When I realized it, I was spending more time in Portugal than in Russia. It just happened, and I am very happy to live in this dreamy country. 

DJANEMAG: What kind of profession you dreamed to have, when you were a kid? 

Olga: When I was kid, I would always answer that I wanted be a tourist or an artist. 

DJANEMAG: Describe the brightest moment of your DJ career. 

Olga: I have many incredible moments, so it's hard to pick just one. Events like Nikki Beach Marbella, the festivals I play at around the World, or the gigs I usually have at Premium clubs. Portugal is also special to me. 

DJANEMAG: You tour a lot! What country / city impressed you most of all and why? 

Olga: That's a tough one! Every country is different especially regarding their musical culture. As incredible as it seems I love every one of them, since I can adapt to the musical culture of the countries I perform in. 

DJANEMAG: It's hard not to mention that you have just the perfect body!!! Tell us your secret! Maybe it's genes, diet or sport? 

Olga: Oh, thank you! I think it's a mix of all those things. I love food and especially sweets. But I know my limits and I train at the gym at least three to five days a week. 

DJANEMAG: Of course DJs work a lot, but there is still some time for rest, isn't it? How do you like to spend your free time? 

Olga: Well, what I do doesn't really feel like work to me. I love what I'm doing and I really enjoy every moment of it. When I'm not playing or working on music, I spend my time with friends. Or my dogs. They always make me laugh. 

DJANEMAG: It is interesting to know! Do you have some special ritual/rituals before you start to play in front of a huge crowd? Of course we know that often artists are very superstitious! 

Olga: Yes, I do have something of the sort: I need to be alone before the show to relax and get energy to transmit good vibes to the crowd. I also have a little talisman. 

DJANEMAG: Tell our readers about your latest releases! 

Olga: For now I'm doing mashups, and a new track is coming out after the summer. At this moment I don't have time to be in the studio, since I am fully booked for the summer. I have around forty gigs in July and August.
